In 1997, when Sam Beiler began making his first pieces of solid hardwood furniture, he was driven by the simple joy of creation. The challenging process of shaping raw pieces of wood into a table, a bookcase or a bed frame. At first he pursued his passion as a hobby, building small pieces and sharing his furniture with others. Soon, Sam was making furniture full-time, running his new business from his three-car garage.
Sam's furniture would eventually become known as the Lancaster Heirloom Collection - handmade, select furniture crafted by artisans in the heart of Amish Country.
Today, Lancaster Heirloom Collection is a fully staffed operation combining the efforts of many accomplished craftsmen all equally committed to quality handiwork and the joy of creation.
Once upon a time, furniture met at the crossroads of form and function - artistic statements that could be trusted to serve their purpose, day in and out. In an age of mass production and declining quality standards, it's our pleasure to return to the craftsmanship of yesteryear with the Lancaster Heirloom Collection.
Each piece of our furniture is made from 100% solid hardwood, with meticulous attention to the last detail, ensuring a superior product. It's furniture made in the tradition of generations past, but meant to be passed down for generations to come.
The experts that create each piece of furniture for the Lancaster Heirloom Collection take pride in the quality of their work. It's pride you can see in each and every feature, from distinctive dovetail drawers to unique hand-planed tabletops, beautiful finishes and careful distressing for a naturally worn look.
Every piece of furniture can be altered in size, color and hardware and most any other specification you need for truly custom furniture that stands the test of time. We also back our furniture with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to ensure your complete satisfaction.
